Clam Chowder

Ingredients

  • Can of clams (minced or chopped)
  • Group #1
  • 1 T bacon drippings
  • 2 T diced onions
  • Group #2
  • 1 small potato cubed
  • 1/2 c water
  • 1/2 tsp seasoned salt
  • dash of pepper
  • Group #3
  • 2 T flour
  • 1/4 c milk

Instructions

  1. Combine Group #1 ingredients and microwave on high for 2-3 minutes.
  2. Add the Group #2 ingredients and microwave on high 6-8 minutes. Stir once.
  3. Combine the flour/milk mixture together until smooth.
  4. Mix all ingredients together with an additional 3/4 c milk and clams. Microwave on high 6-8 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes.
