Blackened Sea Bass

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme leaves crushed
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper
  • 3 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 4 skinless sea bass

Instructions

  1. Combine paprika, garlic salt, thyme, peppers in small bowl and mix well
  2. Melt butter in small saucepan over medium heat
  3. Pour melted butter into pie plate or shallow bowl
  4. Cool slightly
  5. Dip sea bass into mixture and coat well
  6. Sprinkle both sides of bass with paprika mixture
  7. Grill and enjoy
  8. *Works great with hardwood charcoal
