Stuffed Pork Chops
June 2005 - Excellent!
Ingredients
- 6 pork chops (3/4-1" thick)
- 2 c bread crumbs
- 1/4 c melted margarine
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 T minced onion or 1/2 onion diced
- 2 stalks celery, sliced thin
- dash pepper
- garlic salt
- 1/2 c water
Instructions
- Make pockets in chops by cutting a slit from fat side to bone.
- Combine all remaining ingredients.
- Fill pockets and fasten with toothpicks.
- Brown chops over low heat. Season with additional salt and pepper.
- Place shops in a casserole dish. Add water and back about 30 minutes at 350 degrees in the oven.
