Potato Soup

Grandma Kremer's recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 large potatoes washed, pealed, and cut into chunks
  • 1 large onion sliced
  • Fresh parsley
  • 2 c milk
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 2 T butter
  • 1 T flour

Instructions

  1. Use 2 cups of water and 2 cups of milk to boil potatoes.
  2. Add salt and pepper.
  3. Mix the butter and flour. Add to the soup to thicken.
  4. Boil until potatoes are soft.
  5. Serve with crisp bacon.
