Fried Rice

Ingredients

  • 2 T. oil
  • 1/3 c. thinly sliced green onions
  • 1/2 t. minced garlic
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1/4 t. salt
  • 1/4 t. sugar
  • 1/3 lb. diced cooked ham or shrimp
  • 1/2 c. frozen tiny peas
  • 1 c. bean sprouts
  • 2 T. soy sauce
  • 2 c. cold rice (already cooked)

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in wok until hot.
  2. Add the green onions and garlic and stir fry 1 minute
  3. Add the eggs and scramble loosely, then add the salt, sugar, ham (shrimp) peas, bean sprouts, and soy sauce. Stir fry 2 minutes
  4. Add the rice and stir fry 30 seconds.
