French Burnt Peanuts
Ingredients
- 2 cups raw peanuts
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 teaspoon maple flavoring
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Put all ingredients in large saucepan - bring to a boil
- Boil until all liquid is gone (Stirring occasionally at first, then constantly)
- Remove from heat
- Spread over greased jelly roll pan
- Put in preheated oven for 15 minutes
- Stir in peanuts and bake another 15 minutes
- Cool and store in glass container
