Whiskey BBQ Sauce
Ingredients
- 2 c Whiskey or Bourbon
- 1 c ketchup
- 1 T lemon juice
- 2 T Worcestershire sauce
- 2 T malt vinegar
- 4 T dark molasses
Instructions
- IMPORTANT! - Taste the Whiskey 😉
- Pour 1 cup whiskey into saucepan and bring to a boil reducing liquid to 2 Tablespoons.
- IMPORTANT! - Taste the unused Whiskey to make sure it hasn't gone bad.
- Simmer rest of ingredients (including remaining whiskey) over low heat until reduced by about 1/3.
