Fried Chicken Tenders
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs chicken tenders
- 1 quart water
- 1/4 cup salt
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 cup flour
- 1 T. garlic powder
- 1 T. onion powder
- 1 T. paprika
- 1 T. seasoning salt
- 1 t. black pepper
- 1 t cayenne pepper
- 1 egg
- 3 T. milk
Instructions
- Combine the water, salt, and sugar to form a brine. Add chicken and marinate for 2 hours.
- Combine flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, seasoned salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
- Mix the eggs and milk in another container.
- Preheat oil to 350 degrees.
- Dredge chicken in flour mixture, then egg mixture, then back in flour a second time. Place in fridge to dry out for 20 minutes.
- Fry tenders for about 5 minutes and drain on paper towels.
