Drip Beef Sandwiches
Ingredients
- 2 1/2 - 4 lbs. chuck roast
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 large onion, sliced thick
- 3 cloves garlic, peeled
- 1/2 c. soy sauce
- 1 c. sherry
- 1/2 t. salt
- 4 c. water
- deli rolls
Instructions
- Heat the butter in a heavy pot over medium-high heat. Saute the onions for a couple of minutes, or until beginning to brown.
- Set the roast on top of the onions. Add the remaining ingredients. Cover the pot and simmer for 6 hours. Shred the meat and serve on rolls.
