Dilly Spoon Rolls

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg active dry yeast
  • 1 1/2 cups warm fat-free milk
  • 3-3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cups sugar
  • 1 tsp dill week
  • 34 tsp salt
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1/4 cup canola oil

Instructions

  1. Dissolve yeast in warm milk. Stir in 1 1/2 cups flour, sugar, dill, salt, egg and oil. Beat until smooth. Beat in enough of the remaining flour to make a slightly sticky, thick batter.
  2. Do not knead.
  3. Cover and let rise in a warm place til doubled, about 45 minutes.
  4. Spoon batter into muffin cups coated with nonstick cooking spray.
  5. Cover and let rise til doubled, about 30 minutes.
  6. Bake at 400 for 13-18 minutes of golden brown.
  7. Remove from pans to wire racks.
  8. Serve warm.
