Cherry Dumpling Soup

"Can be eaten hot, but it is very good cold" - Grandma Kremer

Ingredients

  • 1 qt. sour cherries
  • 2 sticks cinnamon
  • 1/2 c sugar
  • Bisquick

Instructions

  1. Fill a large pot 2/3 full of water. Bring to a boil. Add cinnamon and sugar. Add the sour cherries and boil for 10 minutes.
  2. Make dumplings from Bisquick recipe on the box. Add to boiling soup.
  3. Sweeten to taste.
