Honey-Bourbon Glazed Ham
Ingredients
- 7-9 lb. fully cooked bone-in ham
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. honey
- 1/2 c. bourbon
- 1/3 c. Dijon mustard
- 1/3 c. molasses
- 1/2 t. Worcestershire sauce
- Tobasco sauce
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Remove skin from ham and trim fat to 1/4 inch thick. Make shallow cuts in fat 1 inch apart in a diamond pattern. Place ham in a 9x13 inch pan.
- In a medium bowl, stir together the rest of the ingredients. Spoon the entire mixture over the ham. Bake at 325 degrees on the lowest oven rack for 2 hours 30 minutes or until the ham is 145 degrees. Baste with pan juices every 30 minutes. Remove and let the ham rest for 15-30 minutes before carving. Strain sauce and serve in a gravy dish alongside.
