Ginger Simple Syrup
Easily doubled (or halved), this bar staple can be made ahead for your next party, or keep on hand for any impromptu cocktail moment.
Ingredients
- ¾ cup sugar
- ¼ cup chopped peeled ginger
Instructions
- Bring sugar, ginger, and ¾ cup water to a boil in a small saucepan, stirring to dissolve sugar. Remove from heat and let sit 20 minutes. Strain into a jar, cover, and chill.
- DO AHEAD: Syrup can be made 2 weeks ahead. Keep chilled.
