Chipped Dried Beef & White Sauce

Yield: 1 cup sauce

Ingredients

    Sauce
  • 2 T butter
  • 2 T flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 1 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Melt butter over low heat. Blend in flour, salt, and pepper.
  2. Cook over low heat stirring until mixture is smooth and bubbly. Remove from heat.
  3. Stir in milk. Heat to boiling stirring constantly. Boil and stir one minute.
  4. Add dried beef (shredded/torn up) and keep warm.
  5. Serve with mashed potatoes or over toast.
